St Peters Performing Arts Centre

St Peters Performing Arts Centre Competition Cambridge, Waikato

The design of the unbuilt Performing Arts Centre - comprising a proscenium theatre, a concert chamber and a dance studio - is configured as a series of connected forms linked by covered walkways.  The natural amphitheatre at the core of the design has a multiplicity of uses, both as a place for sculpture and as an outdoor space for concerts, celebrations, and assemblies. The outdoor space between buildings is envisaged as an asset to the school, and of equal importance to the buildings themselves.

Design Competition held 2010
