Roto-o-rangi, Waikato

The project brief was for a stand-alone farmhouse of 250 square metres on a hilltop site south of Cambridge.  The architecture evolved as a series of connected spaces to form a protected internal courtyard, and with every space making the most of the tremendous elevated countryside views.  The owner’s connection to this place, and their passionate life in full colour is reflected, revealed, and celebrated in this home.
