PAUA worked with the client to develop a ‘town and gown’ concept for a Gatehouse landmark hotel with conference facilities, public cafe, and apartment and hotel accommodation over three storeys, with a rooftop garden and a central atrium.  The location on a prominent corner site of a key entrance to the university had the café spill out onto the street edge as an invitation to both students and the public to enjoy.
